As a Mom, When I think of the New York Auto Show, I’m assuming the crowd would all be men right? Well, leave to the Toyota’s Women’s Blogger Event to gather amazing Mom Bloggers to unveil the latest 60 models. This was my first time at the NY Auto Show and it won’t be my last. This place is not just for dad’s and son’s. It’s for Moms, daughter’s and friends too!
In addition to viewing the latest vehicle’s, there were plenty of fun filled activities. I was able to drive in a simulator to see the dangers behind texting and driving. The scary part was that I crashed into a mountain. The best part was walking out alive!
Dr. OZ, The Good Life Quizzes were given out which again, as a driver for almost 15 years, I was shocked to know about simple common mistakes that I make daily.
The tough part was learning about Teen driving. Being a Stepmother of three teens, knowing that one day they will be driving absolutely frightens me. Here’s a fact: The first year behind the wheel can be one of the most dangerous years in a teen’s life. That’s why Toyota created TeenDrive365 – online tools, safe driving tips, and special driver events happening across the country, to help parents talk with their teen about safe driving.
