Each of these Spring inspired cocktails in this roundup are easy and quick to make and even includes a new twist of fancy infusions that are simple and refreshing and is sure to have your guest asking for the recipe. Enjoy!
Yes, you’ve read that right. This clever mixologist has discovered that mixing jam and booze is possibly the best idea ever. May I present to you the easiest spring margarita of all time – the Rhubarb Strawberry Margarita. This drink only has 4 ingredients and it had me Tequila!
When I think of Lemonade I immediately think of summer and sitting at my local beer garden for happy hour. That is why I love a great spiked lemonade recipe. Not too sweet and not too strong. This Whiskey Lemonade mixes fresh herbs like basil, rosemary, lavender or mint and a sweet switch from the traditional simple sugar, using honey and water instead of sugar. Genius!
Mix Barefoot White Zinfandel, cranberry juice, pineapple juice and peach schnapps together and chill overnight. Serve over ice. Garnish each serving with a splash of lemon-lime soda and orange. Perfect for your own at home happy hour! I would even add a few sprigs of mint.
Leave it to Martha to know how to party. This recipe is actually simpler than you think. In a heavy large glass, combine mint, lime, and sugar. Using a muddler, mash together mint and lime until sugar is dissolved. Add watermelon, and muddle until broken down. Stir in rum and ice cubes. Pour into an 8-ounce serving glass and garnish with a watermelon wedge. Serve immediately. I don’t know if I could make just one glass. I would suggest setting your ingredients for a large pitcher.
Another simple and refreshing drink with simple ingredients. 2 cucumbers, 1 package of mint, 2 lemons, 2 limes, 2 cups lemonade, 1 bottle of dry white wine (Sauvignon blanc or Chardonnay). I like that you can use your favorite store bought lemonade and save time.
You can always add a drink table or a dessert table to make things a little easier. Enjoy!
