The magic city by the sea is exactly how to describe the feeling you’re left with after a day of family fun at Luna Park. From the board walk filled with yummy goodies and treats to sky high views of the spectacular rides. There’s just an energy in the crowd that gets you excited and pumped to explore all the attractions at Coney Island. I recommend you grab a map and check off all the rides!
My little girls running to get in Luna Park
Our day began at 8am. We walked along the beach collecting seashells, watching the boats and jet ski’s go by. This is the best way to soak up the sun and relax on a Saturday morning. We waited until noon for the gates to roll up at Luna Park. Then off we were to kick off a day of Family Fun at Coney Island.
A selfie at the beach of course!
Normally I’m that nervous Mom saying “No” to everything but at Luna Park I felt a sense of community and family. Friendly staff were there to answer any questions, directing me to the next coolest ride and even offered to take a photo of the family for us!

The Hang Glider. The best part is being able to ride with your little ones right next to you.
What To Expect:
There is SO much to do at Luna Park. I recommend purchasing a wristband. This would include 4 hours of unlimited rides on over 20 rides in Luna Park. There is also a kiddie package which includes 4 hours of unlimited rides on mild thrill rides, Lynn’s Trapeze and Water Mania ( The B&B Carousel is not included). Ride and Play includes one 4 hour unlimited ride wristband and a $20 game card. For prices visit http://www.coneyisland.com

Fireworks on the Beach
Fireworks shoot off at 9:30pm every Friday night during the season. Fireworks generally start the last weekend in June and conclude the Friday before Labor Day.
I hope you enjoy Luna Park as much as my family and I did. There is so much fun awaiting. Remember to plan out your visit before you go. There are lockers you can rent to lighten your load. Food kiosk that include the home of the Hot Dog Nathan’s and fresh homemade Italian Ice Cream to cool you off on the board walk. Be prepared when you come with your little ones. Protect your skin from the sun. Bring sunglasses, hats, sunscreen and light jackets.
*Disclosure: I was invited as media to attend this event. As always all opinions are of my own.
