With New York Fashion Week inspiring hairstyles for Spring and Summer,  I decided to try some runaway inspired hairstyles on my own. Here are 3 of my favorite looks that can go from catwalk to sidewalk using the new revolutionary TRESemmé Compressed Micro-Mist Hair Spray line, these new cans have a new technology to result in a more targeted, efficient spray that comes out softer for a truly lightweight, flexible hold and fast-drying coverage including adjusted valves, inserts, and actuators that are specially designed to cut the spray in half and narrow the cone angle of the traditional hairspray.

First up … the Low Bun

Using only three products (TRESemmé Compressed Micro Mist Hairspray Extend, elastics, and bobby pins) you can create a simple, yet super-chic updo in under five minutes! Why do I love TRESemmé Compressed Micro Mist Hairsprays?  because of their new breakthrough, Micro-Mist technology using superfine micro-mist particles that penetrate through the top layer of hair to provide deeper coverage throughout hair.

What You’ll Need:

Steps:
Start with dry hair. Part your hair in the middle and brush each side slick while lightly spraying TRESemmé Compressed Micro Mist Hairspray Extend to tame any flyaways. Especially with these city winds! I even use an old toothbrush to lay those baby hairs! Secure a low ponytail at the nape of the neck but not too low that it will lie on the collar of your shirt. Pull it tighter by splitting ponytail in two. Twist your hair around your finger until you reach the top of the ponytail. Secure with another hair elastic if needed, and secure the bun with a few bobby pins. As many as you need!
Pull out a few pieces to give it that “messy” look, and pull some strands around your ears for that city chic touch. Finish with TRESemmé Compressed Micro Mist Hairspray Extend to smooth out the frizz and voila! You are looking like you’re ready to walk the catwalk!

Second look. The High Bun.

What You’ll Need:

Using a wide comb, brush your hair enough to get out any tangles. I prefer to detangle my hair with my fingers while flipping your hair over and spritzing the TRESemmé Compressed Micro Mist Hairspray Extend #4. Start brushing your hair into a ponytail with fingers.  Secure with an elastic. Make sure your ponytail can hold up the bun. Secure with extra elastics and you’re done! Finish with TRESemmé Compressed Micro Mist Hairspray Extend #4 to slick your hair!

3rd Look… Half Up, Half Down Pony

  • Elastics ( that match your hair color)
  • TRESemmé Compressed Micro Mist Hairspray Boost #3.
  •  Hairbrush
  • Bobby Pins

First, separate the top half of your hair from the bottom half, securing it with an elastic. Make sure the ponytail is tight. Gently separate the ponytail if needed to make it look more voluminous.  Twist hair around the base and finish by spraying TRESemmé Compressed Micro Mist Hairspray Boost #3.

What I LOVE about TRESemmé Compressed Micro Mist Hairspray line is that they contain an optimized blend of polymers to give lasting hold, lightweight coverage, and humidity and frizz resistance yet still result in hair with natural and flexible movement without stiffness – perfect to keep your favorite flowing statements intact!
